Facial exercises have been touted as a less invasive and less expensive alternative to traditional facial rejuvenation procedures, but do they really work?
A systematic review of nine studies looking at the effects of facial exercise on aesthetic rejuvenation were published in a new article, “The Effectiveness of Facial Exercises for Facial Rejuvenation”. The article appears in the January issue of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and suggests that available evidence is insufficient in determining its efficacy.
